Gift Ideas for a Friend in the Hospital After Surgery

Gift Ideas for a Friend in the Hospital After Surgery

While someone is in the hospital or recovering from treatment, gifts that keep people busy are very welcomed.

I was in the hospital for 17 days when I was having brain surgery and recovery. If I am honest, I had no interest in doing anything as I was so drugged up. But when I got home, I now had 6 weeks before I could go back to work. It was so important to stay sane and keep myself busy. I was so grateful for gifts from friends and family. I even bought myself some gifts to help with my recovery. Need some gift ideas for a friend in the hospital or recovery?

Here are a few of the things I had to help me during my recovery:

Brain Trainer: Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain (Nintendo DS)

Voice Recorder

This is a great one for any person who may be struggling with memory.

Medical Pillow

Digital Calendar Day Clock: Alarms Options
3 alarms for separate wake or medicine times

Pillow Spray

Badger Balm Sleep Balm

Warm Hats

Also, a great website for cotton scarfs for during treatment where you may have hair loss is:

Anna Bandana

Amazon Music Voucher Amazon Movies/Netflix Subscription

Ancestry Subscription
